Marketing Veteran Tasked with Leveraging Creativity to Match Mutualink’s Expansion and Growth

WALLINGFORD, CT – Mutualink, Inc., an innovator and leader in interoperable communications for homeland security, public safety, and private security, announces Jane Beup, a visionary marketing veteran, has joined the company’s team as Director of Marketing and Communications. Beup brings more than a decade of marketing and communications experience to help amplify the innovation and expansion of Mutualink’s life-saving technology.

“Mutualink is quickly becoming the backbone of public security and community safety throughout the nation,” said Joe Mazzarella, Mutualink’s President & COO. “We believe Jane Beup’s talent and enthusiasm will help us execute a strategy to magnify how our technology solutions will make our schools, colleges, hospitals, transit facilities, utilities, malls, stadiums, and businesses safer and more secure.”

As part of her role, Beup’s primary objective will be to take the company’s marketing and communication efforts to the next level – bringing a forward-thinking approach to match Mutualink’s growth. She will work closely with senior leadership to devise and execute a successful marketing strategy.

“I have historically worked with organizations whose mission is to make the communities we live in stronger,” said Beup, Director of Marketing and Communications. “It is an honor to work for a company that is genuinely doing its part to make communities safer.”

Before coming to Mutualink, Beup founded New World Strategy, working in the nonprofit and private sectors, providing outreach, sponsorship, public relations, marketing, and event services guided by a commitment to excellence, integrity, and social responsibility. Prior to that, she co-founded Motley Beup, a consulting firm specializing in capacity building, special event, and fundraising for nonprofit organizations.

She has also served on the Board of Directors for Hartford Youth Scholars Foundation, Community Health Network Foundation, and The Knox Foundation. In addition, Beup is the founder of Urth Farms, Connecticut’s only urban Organic farm, through which she helped promote urban agriculture and food security and became a valued voice, often speaking on the economic impact of urban agriculture. She also works to advance the Filipino village of Dulangan, her father’s birthplace, where she is committed to developing the community and protecting the environment.
