Mutualink’s Software Development Team is currently seeking a Principal DevOps Developer to take on a significant role in the development of a real-time collaboration application targeting the public safety, public utility and military industries. Features of the application include, but are not limited to, live video and audio streaming both to and from iOS or Android devices, integration with cloud-based services, text chat and file sharing. A strong background in DevOps in both server and cloud environments, container deployment and networking, and network security is desired.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the creation of the multimedia communications applications for web clients on desktop and mobile computers, tablets, and smartphones in both a native server and a cloud based environment
• Perform an active role in the specification, implementation and automation of cloud based services
• Perform an active role in the deployment and configuration the Mutualink product offering with second- and third-party solutions for integration with other systems
• Evaluate and address issues found in internal testing and in customer installations
• Join in the continuous effort to extend the scope and depth of our product

Job Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of seven years of direct software development experience, with at least 3 years conceiving, designing, and implementing in the DevOps context
• Direct experience designing, implementing, and maintaining products throughout the product life cycle
• Proven experience in building, delivering and deploying containers using Docker Swarm and Kubernetes
• Proven experience in building and deploying containers in a cloud environment including AWS and Azure
• Proven experience with designing and developing network security policies, including certificate management
• Proven experience with developing network proxy rules
• Experience with databases in a distributed and geo redundant environment
• Practical experience with data security principles and methods are preferred
• Experience with Agile methodologies and other rapid development techniques preferred
