Wallingford, CT – Mutualink is pleased to welcome Major General (Ret. U.S. Army) N. Lee S. Price to the company’s advisory board. MG Price is a highly-decorated U.S. Army veteran with more than 38 years of experience leading military and government organizations. Her background in communications systems and networked computer applications for the military is perfectly aligned with Mutualink’s technology and markets, and she will be an invaluable resource to the company.
“Mutualink’s real time any to any multimedia interoperability solution offers precisely the type of capabilities that the military is looking for. It enables joint and coalition interoperability on an on demand, secure ad hoc basis using any type of network transport from the tactical level up to command and control echelons,” said MG Price. “Not only does it bridge a vast array of radio and communications assets, it also can bridge ISR platforms allowing for vastly enhanced joint situational awareness. This is a transformative technology that can greatly assist our Nation and our partners. I look forward to using my experience to assist in the widespread adoption of this outstanding technology.”
MG Price held many notable positions during her tenure in the military, and was a pioneer for women serving in the U.S. armed forces. She assisted with the launch of the commercial communications system during Desert Shield/Desert Storm for U.S. joint forces in Saudi Arabia, which later expanded to include roll-outs in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, and Qatar. Previously, Price established the largest Command and Control system within the Department of Defense. An upgraded version of this system is still in use by all branches of the U.S. military as well as with the armed forces of the Republic of Korea. MG Price was the first female to be honored as the Army’s Program Manager of the Year in 2004, and the first female selected for General Officer for the Army’s Acquisition Corps before being promoted to Major General.
“Major General Price is a recognized and very well-respected military leader, known for her expertise in communications technology,” said USAF Col (Ret.) Sonny Blinkinsop, Director of Defense Services for Mutualink. “We are honored to have her as a senior mentor and member of our advisory board.”
Members of Mutualink’s distinguished advisory board provide strategic insight, counsel, and diversified experience to Mutualink’s management team, which enables the company to maintain a leadership role in the interoperable communications and multimedia collaboration market. According to Joe Mazzarella, Senior Vice President and Board Director of Mutualink, Inc., “Major General Price brings not only incredibly relevant experience and knowledge to our company, she demonstrates that Mutualink has a genuine commitment to ensuring that women leaders are part of our senior team. We are looking forward to her helping shape and drive the Company’s strategic objectives within the defense space, and making uniquely valuable contributions to our efforts.”
