Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are currently seeking an Automation Engineer to work in the Quality Assurance department at our Engineering facility in Westford, MA, and be part of our innovative and dynamic team.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Mobile Test Framework design utilizing Page Object Model and Appium for iOS, Android and Progressive Web Applications
  • Experience developing Selenium tests using Java, TestNG/JUnit and Maven
  • Experience developing automated API tests for REST-based API's using SOAPUI/Postman
  • Experience with integrating automated test results with Zephyr Scale in Jira
  • Ability to provide steps to reproduce, retrieve log files and general debugging information for defects
  • Experience with integrating automated test suites with Jenkins
  • Work in a collaborative environment with other automation test engineers and manual test engineers
  • Ability to take lead on small to medium-sized automation projects
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Participating in QA team meetings
  • Participate in Project Team meetings 

Desired qualifications include:

  • Experience with Linux and UNIX operating systems
  • Experience with IOS and Android operating systems
  • Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team-oriented environment
  • Understanding of VM’s and complex lab environment topology
  • Background in contributing to the release process; and an ability to work with engineering and deployment teams to assess deployment readiness
  • Knowledge of and experience with quality process and methodologies to include: defect tracking tools, and test case, test plan development, implementation and execution

 

Job Location is hybrid – partly in our Westford, MA office, partly work-from-home.
