Mutualink is currently seeking a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to join our performance/scale effort focused on testing and developing software for our LNK360 line of products that will set the industry benchmarks on automated emergency response solutions. Location – Westford, MA

 

As part of the QA team the specific traits we are looking for are:

  • You like to contribute to existing and future product test scenarios, and beyond
  • Contribute, sustain, and grow our performance/scale automation effort
  • Think outside the box then define and execute automation scenarios for mobile (iOS and Android), and desktop clients
  • Provide time estimates for a fast-paced environment
  • Interact with other teams and stakeholders, and provide updates regarding the health of the product
  • Reporting to the Director of QA, organize and streamline the test automation effort

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of software quality assurance experience, with 5 + years in software test automation
  • Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced QA environment
  • A passion for creating the best end-to-end customer experience, using test automation as a vehicle to achieve that
  • Hands-on mobile testing and mobile test automation experience is a huge plus
  • Experience architecting test automation framework, and/or performance test beds is definitely a plus
  • Proven hands-on experience using Java, JavaScript and other OO languages to achieve functional or scale testing automation requirements
  • Ability as a full-stack test engineer (REST and UI), demonstrated experience with any of the tools such as: JUNIT, Appium, Browserstack, Selenium, Cypress, SmartBear ReadyAPI, and/or Playwright
  • Experience with version control and PR process
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail-oriented, and organized with active experience in JIRA and confluence
  • Collaboration and problem-solving skills, with a self-driven desire for success
  • Willingness and ability to lead small to medium sized test projects
