Mutualink’s Software Development Team is currently seeking a Principal Web Client Application Developer to take on a significant role in the development of a real-time collaboration application targeting the public safety, public utility and military industries. Features of the application include, but are not limited to, live video and audio streaming both to and from the iOS device, integration with cloud-based services, text chat and file sharing. This position provides a significant opportunity to drive the direction of the product.

Westford, MA or Allen, TX

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of multimedia communications applications for web clients on desktop and mobile computers, tablets, and smartphones
• Perform an active role in the specification and implementation of server-side services
• Perform an active role in the specification of interfaces for the integration of the Mutualink product offering with second- and third-party solutions for integration with other systems
• Evaluate and address issues found in internal testing and in customer installations
• Join in the continuous effort to extend our product’s scope and depth

Job Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 to 8 years of direct software development experience, with at least 3 years conceiving, designing, and implementing web applications
• Expert experience in languages, frameworks & tools for web client development required
• Direct experience creating multimedia web clients using WebRTC required
• Direct experience designing and implementing Progressive Web Apps strongly preferred
• Experience with access management solutions strongly preferred, and direct experience with OAuth2.0 preferred
• Practical experience with data security principles and methods preferred
• Experience with Agile methodologies and other rapid development techniques preferred
• Direct experience designing, implementing, and maintaining products throughout the product lifecycle
