We are currently seeking an Event Coordinator that can help us with marketing events and all trade shows. The role will assist the marketing team with various special projects and initiatives including, but not limited to: researching, ordering, managing inventory and coordinating packaging and shipping of all company swag, assisting with various marketing projects, managing and coordinating Mutualink’s participation in national trade shows as well as coordinate and produce hosted conferences and symposiums, and assisting with demand gen related activities as needed.  In addition, the Event Coordinator will support successful participation at industry events, including event planning, booth coordination, on-site logistics, speaker preparations, and deliverables. This role also supports the Director of Marketing and Communications and the Marketing Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across multiple marketing disciplines.

Job Location: Wallingford, CT

Compensation:
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package (Health, Vision, Dental and Group Life Insurance, 401K Plan & Match, PTO, and Holiday Pay), a great team to work with and a mission that you can be part of that will absolutely make a difference. This position offers a fixed annual base salary. The annual salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000 based on an individual's overall qualifications, experience, skill level, geography, expertise, and education/training at time of hire.  Promotional and advancement opportunities are available to reach top pay.  This pay range can be modified at any time at the sole discretion of the Company.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Mutualink’s participation in national trade shows and conventions
  • Coordinate and produce Mutualink’s hosted conferences and other events
  • Create and maintain an events calendar based on Mutualink’s participation
  • Plan and execute events based on the events calendar
  • Responsible for event/trade show shipping needs
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications and Sales to ensure a seamless process of event participation
  • Communicate with vendors and staff
  • Manage asset inventory logistics
  • Oversee all deliverables, including but not limited to logos, ads, and assets
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with event planning and/or trade shows or project management
  • Marketing and public relations skills
  • Communication and client relations skills
  • Excellent vendor management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent project management and facilitation skills, with high level attention to detail
  • Ability to handle pressure, make quick decisions, and meet deadlines on demand
  • Brand representation skills
  • Business best practices
  • Office 365, Hubspot and Asana experience, a plus
