We are currently seeking a Manager of Software Quality Assurance to lead the department at our engineering facility in Westford, MA, and be part of our innovative and dynamic team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage all activities related to software quality assurance
    • Interact with project and engineering management to ensure a timely project completion
    • Responsible for hiring, training, developing, mentoring, and motivating staff members, including college interns
    • Provide hands-on technical and administrative leadership to software and cross-functional project teams throughout the development lifecycle
    • Develop and execute test plans for all core products
    • Direct and organize the automation of the Mutualink UI testing and other automated test suites
    • Direct and participate in the design and maintenance of QA lab and environment
    • Ensure communication of priority and process to the QA team to meet delivery commitments

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with Linux and UNIX operating systems; IOS, Mac, and Android operating systems a plus
  • Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
  • Working understanding of relational databases and data access (SQL Server)
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of accountability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team-oriented environment
  • Understanding of Docker, VM’s, and complex lab environment topology
  • Background in contributing to the release process; and an ability to work with engineering and deployment teams to assess deployment readiness
  • Knowledge of and experience with Quality process and methodologies to include defect tracking tools and test case, test plan development, implementation and execution
  • 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance role
  • 5+ years of experience in management of software and SQA teams
  • Demonstrable experience in testing and contribution to delivering complex software projects
  • Experience in beta management a plus
